New show, new fandom, first episode of a whole new series!

Well, okay, new in a very broad sense of term. :)

Wow, the guys really are tasty. This was very yummy and so interesting--I'm really intrigued by the show now. I'm like you--I barely remember anything about the show, other than I really loved it as a little kid.

It's a hugely fun show. I haven't watched a *ton* of it, but there are some spectactularly slashy episodes, and some wonderful h/c episodes (in season 1 look for A Coffin for Starsky and, I think, The Shootout (the one in the Italian restaurant)).

Yeah, I just watched Survival and the Shootout. And the Hutch heroin one. Wow, they do h/c well! It was so tasty. I love that there's stuff up on YouTube--and fanfic, with awards and everything, heh! It just always amazes me that Riptide has somehow not garnered the same kind of response.

I did find one blogger who was complaining about S&H h/c slash, and one of the comments on the blog was something like, "S&H is the Riptide of the 70's" which made me laugh out loud.
