SCHOOL AT LAST

Chai's first day of preschool was yesterday. The school is so cute! It's bright and colorful and they have the nicest shaded yard to play in. The teacher is an older, happy woman. I kinda worry about this. It's like... it's cool that I'll have Jilly to myself for a few hours 4 days a week, but I can't go anywhere, because it takes me an hour and a half to travel anywhere and back. :/

I think this is a great transition for both of them, and the four hour slots will be routine for you very soon. I know when my two youngest nap, I prefer them to nap back to back instead of together because dealing with one for 5 hours is easier than dealing with none for 2 1/2 and then both at the same time. I think it's pretty close to the same thing.

Yay for school!

My summer has been cut into intervals like that. Drop everyone off for 8:30, pick Jamey up for lunch at noon, drop him off, then pick the kids up at 3 then pick him up at 5. You can't get anything done like that.
