Cindy is retired
Cindy is now retired. We took her to the vet a couple of weeks ago because she was in pain. The vet gave her an x-ray and said that her arthritis was a lot worse than it was since the last x-ray five months ago, and he didn't think it was a good idea for her to keep working. I called GDQ and told them I wanted her to go to Brisbane. I'd have loved ( Read more... ) -
Cindy and babysitting
Cindy has been very good on most of her walks lately. She misbehaved a bit on Monday because I wasn't walking with Angela like I do on other days. I've been giving her extra food because she's lost weight, but she won't eat it sometimes. Maybe she thinks she'll get fat.

Update: Cindy
Cindy is doing fine. She has a kind of bowel disease. The vet gave us tablets and changed her food. His dog has the same thing, and he said that if Cindy does well on the food she may not have to have the tablets for too long. She loves the new food. I haven’t seen her so eager to eat her dinner for a long time.

We got Cindy home yesterday. She slept all day. She's better today, but she fretted a lot when Mum and Angela went shopping, and she still wants to sleep a lot. -
Cindy’s still sick
Cindy is still sick. She threw up her dinner last night. She didn’t want to eat her breakfast this morning, so we took her to the vet. They opened her up and checked for cancer and stuff, but didn’t find anything. She has to stay overnight. We went to see her a while ago and she was all right, just woozy. It's been raining all day. And it's cold. I hate this weather. Cindy has been sulking most of the day. She's perked up a bit now, though. She grabbed a stuffed duck toy out of her toy box and started chewing it. It'd better not be raining tomorrow. I don't want her to miss out on another walk, and I have shopping to do.
