Every day…and even more often than that…I am so thankful to the Lord that He made me a girl. Boys are rather wonderful, but there is no reason in the world that I want to be one…though I still very glad that the Lord made them. I gasped with delight (most unladylike, do forgive me!) when I read your post. Someone who shares my affinitiy for skirts! I counted the skirts hanging in my summer wardrobe, and there are more than 20, so I'm calling it a collection! I've become obsessive about skirts in the last few months, to the point that I have decided to do a series on my fashion blog (http://dressparade.blogspot.com) featuring not only my favorite skirts but those of my friends! Why don't you send me a picture of you modeling your skirt? It can be from the neck/waist down if you prefer not to show your face on the web. If you don't mind, I would love to re-publish your post as well.

I'm glad you so enjoyed this post! And you're right, it IS so nice to find other girls who love skirts!

And I didn't know you had a fashion blog...I'm adding the address to my Google Reader...have you done the skirt series yet? Because I couldn't find it on your blog... And I'll have to see about the picture...I don't mind at all modeling my favorite skirt (!! =)), but my dad doesn't like us posting our pictures on the Net...but I'm pretty sure that it will be okay if it's just neck or waist down. Do you need it by a certain time? Because I'm not sure when I'll get around to taking a picture...

And sure...I don't mind at all if you "re-publish" my post...I'd be honored!

Nope, I conceived the idea for the series mere hours before you posted your note! It thrills me to know other ladies are on the same wavelength. ;-) The sooner the better on the picture. I have a post written to launch the series, along with a skirt of my own that I'll have to get someone to photograph me wearing, but reflection and photo would be a perfect followup. Let's say by next Friday; how's that? Thank you so very much!

Thank you, Susan! That's great that it solidified that we're kindred spirits...I think that girls who love wearing skirts are almost always some kind of kindred spirits! =)

Thank you muchly, dearest Rosiebella! And I'll try to take a picture of the skirt sometime soon, but I'm not exactly sure when...if/when I finally do, I'll make sure to send you a copy! And besides...like I said in the post...this skirt has already been imagined into antique bookstores, so WHEN you come down to MO to see me, I'll make sure to wear it when we go book-shopping! =)
