First, with what you've written about your job and how well you're doing there, you're not going to get laid off and you're certainly not going to screw it up, trust me on that. But I understand. It feels too good to be true but it is true. =)
I guess I'd be pretty torn too in a situation like that. Just tell yourself that it's another big adventure waiting for you and that it's not only going to do your family good, it's also going to do YOU good too. You'll find another job. You found this one, didn't you? So there's no reason for you not to find another great position in Nevada. Call me an optimist (weird I know) but for almost two years, I've read about what you and your family went through and what you overcame: so I do think you can do this.
