Aww, this one kinda gave me goosebumps. A little side we don't often see of Jack, being all humane and thinking of other people like that. Very nice, as always. :)

That was fast! *g*

And yay for goosebumps! And one doesn't often think of a -pirate- as such, but we all know Jack is a softie.

Thank you very much, m'dear!

You must know I spend my Sunday nights mindlessly clicking refresh on various internet sites. Please!

And actually, I'm so confused between canon!Jack and the various fic!Jacks that the line is blurred, and I can't remember what Jack is really supposed to be like. I mean, before you planted yourself on LJ, I was fairly certain that nowhere in the movies does Cutler spank Jack on the rear with a riding crop and call him his bad little sailor. . .but now I'm not sure.

OMG!! Bad little sailor! *dies in puddle of happiness and giggles* That's fantastic.

And I actually think that was a deleted scene from AWE. *nod*

Wonderfully done! A really great look at that final scene in AWE. I truly loved Jack's change of heart, and I think you've managed to capture a connection he has had with his "good man" side that he possessed all his life in that moment :)

Great job!

Thank you! I'm glad you got that from it--I was originally toying with something in there about him realizing that he was a good man, but I couldn't get it how I wanted it, so I left it this way. I'm glad it still came through!

Thanks for reading!

GAH! "...the fire fade from young Turner's eyes..."
Oh, how that hurts! You done good here. I think you've really hit the nail on the head with this one, because I think of all the things Jack had to deal with in his life, this moment in AWE was his most tragic. Nice job.

Just wonderful. So true, every word, and so much of Jack's story packed into such a short space.
