I am flying to Adelaide to be with acmarita, who recently learned she has cancer.

I met a friendly poltergeist who helped me jump-start my car.

We're watching a recorded episode of Monk at Herold's house. Felix was playing around in the living room when the characters on the screen started insisting that Monk show them his belly button.

Felix paused whatever he was doing, and obeyed.

11 months today! And last night, Felix mastered the use of his magnetic fishing kit bath toy. All of a sudden. I'd shown him how it works a few weeks ago and he had enjoyed watching but didn't get that he could do it to. But last night he went straight to it and fished and fished and fished, obsessed like a man in a Hemmingway novel.
