Well first and for most i quit.......weight lifting, upon consultation of a new friend it's too much for my body and bones to take, and it's why i'm so heavy i just keep putting on mass (my arms are mad nice right now, but i gained more muscle and didn't lose fat) so i'm going to switch to bodyweight conditioning, calisthenics, hip hop abs (i'll ( Read more... )

I lost my first 20 or 30 pounds weightlifting and doing cardio, but once I got into the 150s I seriously could NOT lose that way. Gave up the weightlifting and I was able to diet a bit more strictly. I broke the 150s plateau (now if only I could buckle down and break the 140s plateau lol.)

I totally understand you giving it up for other exercises for now, though. It sucked that I lost some muscle mass, but I am considerably smaller than I was.
