Who: Cissnei and OPEN! What: And now Cissnei is under punishment as well. Come enjoy the crack, people. Where: Beach When: Monday Afternoon Warnings: HOLY SHIT IS SHE WEARING A BIKINI? I think she is.
He shouldn't have come in all honesty. Sand and salt water plus fur was a bad combination. That everyone around him would be an adult was a second part of his long list of "Why Ritsuka should not go to the beach." Yet here he was. He should turn around and just walk away. Really he should.
Turn around.
No point in hanging out with anyone. Just turn around. Ritsuka frowned as he was suddenly standing on the beach and he was half-tempted to glare down at his feet. If he left now, no one would see him and no one would know he came.
"Ritsuka!" Cissnei called when she spotted the boy, a smile crossing her face as she raised a hand to wave at him. Even if he didn't want to get in the water, she'd sit with him.
He walked over to Cissnei. His feet started to sink into the sand with every step and he had to pause and pull off his shoes. He supposed he should be grateful that it wasn't a very hot day. It took him only a minute or so to get over to Cissnei. He bowed in greeting to the... almost bubbly red-head.
"Um... thank you." He wasn't really glad he came but he wasn't going to say that.
She smiled at him briefly, wondering what was with the look he gave her. Did he not want to be here? Something else? Still thought she was acting weird? Who knew, people were acting rather strange.
"Don't mention it!" She said cheerfully, turning back to face the water and folding her arms at her stomach. "It's good to be back in one spot without things changing every week, don't you think?"
Preston was walking around the beach in all of his un-clean and rugged glory. Kicking sand as he walked, Preston surveyed the sea. He was still trying to think of a way to get past that barrier. So far all of his plans ended in tragedy. Turning around, he decided to leave the beach and set out for another part of the island, after deciding that that he had spent to much time on the beach.
Cissnei had just arrived, and on spotting the other she waved briefly at him, giving the other a smile. "Hello Preston." She said with a smile, forgoing last names as she usually might...yep, something was definably up with Cissnei today.
Preston looked at her strangely and gave her a wave in greeting. He couldn't remember her using he first name the few times they actually talked. To Preston this meant that she was either in a really good mood today or something was wrong. Maybe she had something to do with that explosion he's been hearing so much about?

The beach wasn't particularly the best place for a Nobody. Or a scientist, for that matter. Vexen's black Organization coat caught the sun's heat like nothing else, and the sand was getting all over his boots. It was almost certainly going to force him to do a full cleansing of his clothes before he could even think of returning to his lab, threatening the purity of the samples he was here to gather. It left the Nobody huffy and frustrated, a mood that was easily readable on his face as he went around the shore picking up whatever living specimens he could carry
