The beach wasn't particularly the best place for a Nobody. Or a scientist, for that matter. Vexen's black Organization coat caught the sun's heat like nothing else, and the sand was getting all over his boots. It was almost certainly going to force him to do a full cleansing of his clothes before he could even think of returning to his lab, threatening the purity of the samples he was here to gather. It left the Nobody huffy and frustrated, a mood that was easily readable on his face as he went around the shore picking up whatever living specimens he could carry.

The sound of someone walking on the beach nearby caught his attention. How dare someone intrude on his involved research! The Nobody stood, intending to give the other person a piece of his mind if they came too close (or if they happened to be Axel or Xigbar). Of course....the red hair he saw was not the red hair he expected. The woman, Cissnei, going to the beach? Something must be happening. He would have to learn more information before he could decide whether it would be best to leave or stay.

"A pleasant beach, is it not?" he asked blandly, also announcing his presence to the woman. No need to startle her into attacking.
