So, I have this crazy/madcap idea to put together a LARP proposal for Procon based on/in Race for the Galaxy, and I'm looking for co-GMs to help me put this thing together. Anyone out there in LJ-land interested in joining me?

Rolled my ankle while loading my car for Endgame. St. psychotropek chauffeured me to the hospital. Diagnosis: sprain. Ice, rest, splint, and painkillers prescribed. So much for Endgame. Kill some bugs for me, Temple!

And now I reward myself by heading off to go fight Lovecraftian horrors beyond the ken of mortal man.

So, with buying the new car, my dad's finally booting me off the family insurance plan, and I find myself shopping for auto insurance. Are there any that people out there can recommend? Any to avoid? I'd like to consider myself a safe/(mostly-)sane driver; no accidents, one (BS) moving-violation ticket ([RANT EXPUNGED]) about four years ago. ( Read more... )

Turns out my LJ was still on an S1 layout, which the LJ-devs borked somehow, causing it to lose color settings. Upgraded to S2, but don't have time at the moment to tweak all the color settings how I want them, so I'm just running one of the stock themes for now. Ahh well, change is good, I supose.

For the past week or so, LiveJournal has been screwing with the color settings on my main and friends pages. Instead of my white-on-black-and-greys palette, it's doing black text on a plain white background instead. Saw it last night with taranhero and alberteqx, and it was awesome! I'm not quite sure it was the third-best movie ever, but it was certainly very, very, very well done. If you haven't seen it, go do so!
