For the past week or so, LiveJournal has been screwing with the color settings on my main and friends pages. Instead of my white-on-black-and-greys palette, it's doing black text on a plain white background instead. I'm using one of the default themes (Generator), and as far as I can remember I haven't done any fancy tweaking. The odd thing is

Sadly (?) I can't say that I've noticed anything amiss with LJ this week. My stuff's been pretty normal. Hope yours clears up soon!

The black on white, blue links, sometimes weird formatting is usually the result of the browser failing to render the styles and formatting properly. It generally happens to me on random sites that respond slowly. I've assumed that it's the result of the browser getting tired of waiting for style sheets and such.

It's not a browser issue: the formatting is just fine, just the color info has been lost on LJ's end. I've tried on several different computers, and multiple browsers and OSes. It even happened again after I re-set the colors, within a matter of minutes.

I noticed this on mine too. I assumed it was because I had a paid account at one point, but it's good to hear it's not just me.
