new iPod Touch

So.. I got myself a new pressie. A nice new iPod Touch. But it has the firmware 2.1 on it. However, my huge problem is that MM isn't updated for the new iPod Touch firmware. (its name is Sakura - I was always saving that name for something special. And now I can use it. :p ( Read more... )

yeah i've seen things for flac on mac but not flac and itunes on windows. ergh stupid software.

see.. i have that. i need something that will let iTunes even recongize the flac. not the flac plugin itself. Thanks anyway though.

I actually found myself at an Apple store while shopping and managed to talk myself out of the new Nano. I own a 2nd gen nano but I just couldn't bring myself to dump it just because of a nice screen that has a lot more screen resolution, the genius feature, and a bigger drive (8 gb vs 4).

Anyway, I thought you used foobar? It has a built in FLAC to MP3 converter.

i ditched foobar for MediaMonkey. I found it really hard to manage my ever growing library. And when I crashed last year I needed something to automatically organize the majority of it. And MediaMonkey does it all very swimmingly.

MM does the FLAC to mp3 too. And does it automatically on supported iPods. I'm just trying to find something to work for me (other than the manually) for the time being.
