They tore down the building I used to live in for five years! I wasn't sure if it was going to happen, and I certainly didn't think it would be this fast, but I walked down there after work today and it's a pile of rubble! I'm going to try to take some pictures before they cart all the rubble away. I wonder what will be done with the land now? Will ( Read more... )

Most PTO is only good for the year, so when the new cycle starts, if you havent used it, you lost it.

I'll have to ask if that's how our vacation time works. Since it takes like 7 to 8 months to earn one week of vacation, I don't know how anyone would ever take 2 weeks off unless it can roll over from year to year, and I know people who have taken two weeks of vacation at a time.

Typically, it takes a full year to qualify for that benefit, so thats cool you didnt have to wait that long :)

I earn a certain amount of vacation and sick time for every hour I work. :)
