Until I get internet back at home, I'm not going to be able to go online every day. Too busy with the new job. Lately, I've only been able to read my friends page over the weekend. They tore down the building I used to live in for five years! I wasn't sure if it was going to happen, and I certainly didn't think it would be this fast, but I walked down there after work today and it's a pile of rubble! I looked at my calendar and realized I haven't posted anything in a week! There just hasn't been anything new going on. I won a gift card at work for having a high conversion rate and average order value, but it was only $10. Still, free lunch, so that's good. They continue to run contests and junk. Just thought this was funny. At work, now they're turning the sales contest into a competition between the supervisors. Whoever's team does the best in sales for a week gets a big gift card, and everyone on their team gets a nice gift card too. The job has decided to take me on permanently. \o/ Today I learned how to sign up for benefits and got my cheapie local bus pass. They pay for part of a yearly bus pass, which costs me about a third of what it would usually cost, and comes out of my paychecks so I barely feel it.
