Crappy Crappy Day

May 20, 2009 23:46

I woke up a little hung over thanks to my son and his offering me a beer called Midus Touch, which is supposed to have ingrediants they found in a tomb somewhere in Egypt or maybe Seatle, I don't know.  But it is 9% alcohol or something outrageous like that.  I like to drink but not get shitfaced.  Thanks to Midus Touch I went over the line on Tues ( Read more... )

I'm glad your mother had a successful surgery.

But days like today are why we invented escapism, huh? :/ I'm sorry, Deb.

saberivojo's Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.

...I'm sorry it was so crazy for you.

In other news, I liked Cook's new hair tonight on the AI finale. Have you seen the new color? It's...blonder, I think.
*raaarr*

I so wanted to see AI but was diving. Maybe I can find it on youtube or something. I think a blonder Cook sounds good.

Ooh, that bridge scares the shit out of me. But glad your mom is okay. And that you guys all made it home safely.

I am (as always when alcohol enters the picture) intrigued by laughing at you about the beer though. :D In Alaska, they have this beer called Ice Axe and they add honey to it during the fermentation process, which ups the alcohol content and gives it an interesting flavor. It's awesome. I'm a little scared of tomb-stuff, though. Do they have those in Seattle? *ponders* Perhaps we should consult July.

That beer was something else! My son was drinking it to. My husband referred to it as Devil Beer!

I really was white knuckled accross that damn bridge! You are right, we are all safe and sound. That is a good thing.

Glad your mom's surgery went well. Sorry about the rest of it. Hate being on a bridge and in that kind of traffic with a car that could quit at any time. It's scary. I think you need the beer tonight!

I think that scared me as much as anything. Getting stuck on that bridge would have resulted in a break down for me as well as the car!
