Chapter 7: The truth

Frozen silence fell on them. Nino, Ohno and Sho quickly looked at each other then back at Jun.
“You what?” Nino asked and now it was official that he doesn’t need to treat Jun as a customer, he immediately omitted to be polite with him.
“I hate to repeat myself but it seems punks like you are dense here…” Jun said mockingly. “I said I’m here to take back my fiancé, Masaki” he said pointing at the boy in Ohno’s arms.
“I’m sorry, sir, but you must be sadly mistaken” Ohno said calmly. “He’s my little brother and I’m sure I must know if he’s be engaged to someone, right?” he smiled at the visitor but his arms tightened around Aiba protectively.
Jun snorted at this.
“I hope you don’t expect me to believe this lie… I don’t know what he said or didn’t say to you, but trust me on this one: he lied to all of you. You wouldn’t treat this way if you’d know who he is…” Jun said with an annoyingly self-satisfied smirk on his face. “Now enough of this play; Masaki, we’re going home…”
Jun reached out his hand to pull Aiba away from Ohno but before he could lay even a finger on him, Sho grabbed his wrist.
“Don’t you dare!” he warned him.
“And who the hell are you to tell me what to do or not to do, punk?” Jun asked but when he tried to pull his hand away, Sho’s hold tightened on his wrist.
“That doesn’t matter who I am. But if you touch this kid even with only a finger… you’ll know how it feels to wipe your bleeding nose with a broken arm…” Sho said seriously.
“Are you threatening me?” Jun snapped.
“Believe me, it’s not a threat, it’s a promise…” Nino said preceding Sho. “Now would you leave?” he asked glaring at the taller man.
“You can’t keep him here forever. He belongs to me and I will take him back. If you have the slightest sanity, you’d hand him over just right now…” Jun claimed.
Hearing this Aiba clang onto Ohno more, silently begging him not to do so.
“I said get out of here!” Nino shouted at Jun, pushing him back roughly.
Jun stumbled back a few steps almost loosing his balance.
“It’s not over yet…” he said then finally left the place…

Jun shut the café’s door behind him then pulled out his phone as he walked down the street.
“It’s Jun… I found him, sir… Well, that’d be a little… problematic. He’s acting stubborn as always… No, there’s no need for that, sir, I have everything under control… Wakarimashita, I’ll do that if he leaves no other chance… About the wedding… Yes, as soon as we got back. That must be the next week the latest… Hai, onegaishimasu…”

The silence was heavy in the café. The three men were looking at Aiba who slowly let go of Ohno and stood in front of them with lowered head, looking shy and guilty.
“Ma-chan?” Ohno asked softly taking Aiba’s hand.
“I… I guess I owe you an explanation…” he mumbled and looked up at them, his eyes lingered on Sho longer but the older man looked back at him coldly.
“You don’t owe us anything, Ma-chan… But we need to know a few things to be able to help you…” Nino said gently stepping next to the boy.
Sho snorted.
“There’s nothing to know, everything is obvious here… He’s indeed a rich, spoiled kid who was bored back at his diamond castle so came here and used us to have some fun…” Sho said disgusted. “You make me sick…” he looked at Aiba. “But I hope you enjoyed yourself… Now go after that wiseass fiancé you have and leave us alone!” he shouted at the scared boy.
“Aniki! Stop this! You can’t know it!” Nino said to him firmly.
“No! Nino, please, don’t fight because of me!” Aiba pleaded. “Sho-san… he’s right… I… took advantage on your kindness but I never wanted to use you or make fun of you…” Aiba said. “I… my real name is Aiba Masaki…”
“Aiba? You mean… you mean like the biggest CEO in Japan?” Nino asked disbelieving.
“The one who owns all the medical firms?” Ohno asked just as shocked as his boyfriend.
Aiba nodded quietly.
“Told you so…” Sho murmured.
Aiba shivered at the older man’s tone but kept talking.
“Nearly three months ago my father told me I have to marry Matsumoto-san cause it’s the part of some sort of agreement between our company and the Matsumoto Bank… But I didn’t want it but my father didn’t listen to me… So since I had no other chance I ran away on the day of wedding while everybody was busy with the preparations. I didn’t really know where I was heading cause I just took the first train what was leaving Tokyo… Then nii-san found me after I got off here and… that’s all…” Aiba finished and didn’t dare to look at anyone.
“So let me summarize it shortly: you were lying all this time and now you expecting us to help you?” Sho asked sarcastically; it was obvious that he’s still angry. “Forget me cause I won’t!”
With this the man stomped out of the café.
“Aniki!” Nino shouted after him but he didn’t stop. “Damn it, that idiot!...” Nino cursed. “I go, talk with him…”
“Wait, Nino! I… Let me go…” Aiba looked at him with puppy eyes.
Nino looked at him with soft eyes.
“Okay, but you should go straight to his place. That wouldn’t be good if you’d run into that blockheaded fiancé of yours…” Nino said smirking and pulled a key from his pocket. “Here’s the spare key to aniki’s place, he lived behind the assembly shop…”
“Arigatou, Nino!” Aiba smiled at him then took the key and left.
“You think they’ll be okay, Kazu?” Ohno asked slightly worried.
“Sure! They’ll love each other after all…” Nino smiled at his boyfriend and hugged him…

Sho arrived back hours later and a very unexpected - yet he had to admit, pleasant - surprise waited for him in his small, one-room apartment. On his messy futon, there was Aiba sitting, hugging his knees close to his chest and still wore the same, torn jeans and shirt from earlier. He looked up at the older man with big puppy eyes and it was obvious that he feared Sho might throw him out immediately…
“What are you doing here, kid? Go away!” Sho said keeping up with the tough act though he found incredibly cute how Aiba was waiting for him.
“I wanted to talk to you, Sho-san…” the younger boy said getting up from the futon.
“I don’t think there’s anything we should talk about… Now go!” Sho repeated.
“No! Let me explain it!” Aiba pleaded grabbing Sho’s hand boldly. “I didn’t want to lie to you… but nii-san said he and Nino are okay with that if I don’t tell them from where I came…”
“But I’m not Kazu or Ohno-kun! You still lied to me!” Sho snapped pulling his hand away.
“I know! But… I was afraid… You treated me like you’d treat any other person, not as some freak or the heir of my father’s company… And I was afraid that you’ll change too if you know the truth…” Aiba mumbled sadly. “And I was right… Still, I’m sorry for lying to you, Sho-san…”
“Did you ever think about how I would feel if I know you were lying?” Sho asked grabbing the collar of Aiba’s shirt and pulled the boy close by it. “I was falling for you for fuck’s sake! And now you say it all was just a lie, an act?” he asked raising his voice.
Aiba frightened a bit, his eyes widened when Sho grabbed him.
“It wasn’t an act! I’m the same who I was this morning, yesterday or a week ago!” Aiba tried to reason desperately but when the cold glare didn’t disappear from Sho’s eye by this, his face saddened. “Does it really matter this much to you who my father is?” he asked silently.
Sho felt like a total jerk when he saw tears gathering in those soft brown eyes. He didn’t want Aiba to cry; mostly not because of him… He let go Aiba’s collar and slid his hands up on the boy’s neck to his cheeks. His thumb caressed Aiba’s face gently and the boy blushed by the touch.
“No, I guess it doesn’t matter at all…” he said softly in the end.
The ghost of a smile appeared on the younger boy’s lips as Sho slowly leant closer but he stopped inches from the other’s mouth looking into his eyes as if asking a permission. Aiba’s eyes fluttered closed. Sho took that as a yes and closed the small distance between them. Aiba moaned weakly as Sho’s greedy yet tender lips moved against his own, making him open his mouth, giving Sho the chance to deepen the kiss. His last coherent thought was that it felt so right and perfect; nothing like the kisses what Jun forced on him all the time…
Aiba fisted his hands onto Sho’s shirt, clinging onto it as he melted into the older man’s arms and returned the kiss sloppily. Sho smiled inwardly how inexperienced and innocent Aiba was and somehow it made him even happier.
Finally the fiery kiss turned into small pecks on the lips as the older man slowly pulled away. Aiba panted heavily and clang onto Sho more as he seemed to have a hard time to stand on his own feet.
“Hey, kid, you’re okay?” Sho asked slightly amused.
“Yeah… I’m… fine…” Aiba said blushing but as he let go Sho, his legs almost gave in under him. To his luck, Sho caught him in time.
“You should better lay down…” Sho chuckled and pulled down Aiba with him on the futon.
Aiba blushed more as Sho wrapped his strong arms around his waist holding him close after he pulled the sheets over them.
“Sleep now, kid! You had a hard day…” Sho told him gently.
“Hai…” Aiba mumbled; he didn’t even notice till now how tired he was. “Sho-san…” he said burying his face into Sho’s chest.
“Nani?...”
“Can you call me by my name… please…” Aiba mumbled sleepily.
Sho smiled softly at this request.
“Oyasumi, Masaki…” he said and kissed the boy’s forehead. “I love you…” he added whispering.
“I love you too…” Aiba sighed before drifted into sleep finally…

Chapter 8

A/N: I hope none died by the waiting after last chapter's cliffhanger XD anyway... hope you liked this chap >___< well, I loved writing it XD
oh, and one more thing: Sho's threat ("you'll know how it feels to wipe your bleeding nose with a broken arm...") I guess it doesn't sound threatening at all but as weird as it might sound it's an inside joke in my family; daddy use to say this jokingly when me and my sisters a bit too cocky... XD so I just had to put it into the story cause it popped into my mind when I wrote that part...

g: fluff, arashi, g: angst, p: aiba masaki/sakurai sho, fanfic
