(I altered the code a little bit on my journal but I don't think it'll be relevant to this question)

I have a feeling I already know the answer to my question but with only the previous hour of tag-checking and FAQ-browsing under my belt, like I wouldn't even know.

No, you can't have one style active on some entries and another style on others. An account can create and store multiple styles, but only one of them can be active at a time.

Thank you very much for your response. Yes, I'm slowly figuring this styles/layers thing out and have also come to the conclusion that only one style can be active at a time. My solution was just to provide a link with ?s2id=123456789 at the end and get whoever's reading to click and change the style themselves.
