Tomorrow, South

Portland and Salem were full of hugs, smiles, friends, and comfort all this weekend.  Leaving Seattle was very rough on me this time, in spite of the fact that I won't be gone long.  housecerulia, mlerules, greektoomey were the best of all possible faces to see over and over in Portland, and my diamond-dear cohorts stealthcello,

I have often daydreamed about roadtripping to California just for In-and-Out Burgers. If you go, send me a text so I can envy you properly. :)

heh, I have had similar thoughts, I even mapped it out once, and considered doing a crazy road trip to the nearest one, I think it was something like 10-15 hours away...

It was an absolutely wonderful show, and I've been very much loving listening to the albums of yours that I purchased.

I've only done that roadtrip once (Everett to San Jose), down and back, which was in this last February for PantheaCon. There was snow through the Siskiyous, which was horrendous...chains had to be bought and put on at night, then taken off, then put on again...very bad...

That having been said, it might be fun to stay either in Weed or Yreka, just because both are in the mountains, and both have weird names, and seemed kind of funky as we passed through. Motel 6s and the like are plentiful through that area, so cheap accommodation shouldn't be a problem...

We listened to the downloaded songs from Corvallis to Salem, loved the show a whole lot then listened to the downloaded songs all the way home.

It was easy because they have their own designated playlist on my Ipod.

(And now the show is part of the memories of the someday-this-will-be-a-shawl I am working on. Huzzah!)

LOVE!

You were amazing Friday night and even more stunning on Saturday. I was sorry you couldn't make it to the Saturday Market, but I was consoled knowing that I would see you at the end of the day regardless. (Also helped that Saturday day was, like, the best day ever to be killing time in Waterfront Park.)

"Lucia" is beeeaauuuuutiful, and I can't wait until you have a chance to properly record it and post to bandcamp.

I'm going to miss you until you get back up to Seattle, but I know that you are going to have a GRAND time in San Francisco. That's my home, you know.

Anyway, I felt so much love this weekend, it was restorative. Ask lavenderfae9 and Frank, I was sighing "Love!" every few minutes.

Thank you so very very very faerie much for illuminating my heart. ♥

Yup, it's still Greek to me! Now with added sideburns for extra weirdness!

(And you're still on my flist, all these ages past.)

*air hugs*
