Sonny Rollins. His Saxophone Colossus record completely entranced me. I was only about 9 or 10, but when I first heard St. Thomas it seemed to be on such a different level, though I couldn't explain it then.

John Mayer of course! Why? Oh maybe so I could write and play the guitar like he does, to get the chance to travel the country and see the places he sees. To play with people like B.B. King, Buddy Guy, and Herbie Hancock. Need any other reasons? lol
