“Suki desu, Yamada senpai. Tsu-tsukiatte kudasai!” a girl bow in front of Ryosuke, confessing her feeling. He looks at the long haired girl only with plain eyes and his hands in the pocket. “Aa-ah~ mainichi, mainichi, it’s the same thing. I’m so tired of this.” e let out a long sigh. Ever since he transferred here, almost every week and every month he got confessed by someone, either girls or guys. And as usual, he will reject any of them.
“Gomen. I can’t go out with you.” - These words he has been saying it a thousand times until he feels like to throw up.
“Nande? You already have someone that you like?” - This question he will hear every single time after he said his rejection words.
“Yes…I have” - These are new. Ever since he fell in love with Yuto, his answer will be like this not as usual ‘nope’ or ‘not interested’. In fact, he said those words with astonishing smile that crush each of every heart of people who confessed to him including the next victim which standing in front of him now. She could only feel envious towards the lucky person who captured Ryosuke’s heart even though she had no idea who it might be.
Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and it gonna be such a hassle for him. People who come to confess will be increase in number and all those chocolates and love letters will be stuffed in his locker. The truth is, he is not really a chocolate favor but he can’t just throw them away. He knows those girls make them with their effort so the chocolates will end up in her sister’s stomach. However, this year is something different as he is the one who gonna gives a handmade chocolate to someone he loves.

“Hmm~ which one should I make?” Ryosuke is flipping the Valentine’s special edition magazine which contains lot of chocolate recipes inside it. He’s already in the kitchen, wearing an apron with strawberry pattern and get ready to bake a chocolate. But since this is his first time, he have trouble to make the decision which recipe to choose.
“Are~ Onii-chan, are you making a chocolate?” his younger sister jump into his side and flip the magazine.
“Mezurashi na~ usually you’re the one who received the chocolates and then you’ll give them to me. Yummy~” she lick her lips and rub her stomach, imagining all those tasty chocolates she will get.
“Ne~ kanojo iru no? fufufu~” his sister poking his cheek and Ryosuke click his tongue.
“Jama! Go away!” He grabs his sister’s shoulder and pushes her to leave him alone. She walk away giggling but then she turn to him.
“Onii-chan, you’re good in cooking so whatever you make, it will become tasteful”, she winks before she leaves.
“This kid, sometimes she really knows how to speak.” He chuckles and then he pull his shirt sleeve.
“Yosh! Let’s do this!”
Ryosuke walk toward the shoe lockers while humming. He really feels excited today as he can’t wait to give Yuto his special handmade chocolate. When he open his shoe locker as expected, bunch of chocolates throwing up from the locker. Usually, he will feel annoyed and frowned but today, he just smiles and continues humming while picking up the chocolates then shoves them into his bag. After put on his indoor shoes he pat his chest while smiling cutely, Yuto’s chocolate is safe inside his blazer’s pocket.
During lunch hour, Ryosuke and Yuto are having their bento behind the lab building. Kyo-chan is sitting beside Yuto, eating the octopus hotdogs. Ryosuke munching his last egg roll nervously. After done eating, he wants to give the chocolate to Yuto but what he going to say? What the reason he should tell for giving Yuto a chocolate on Valentine’s Day?
“Yuto-kun, I made this chocolate especially for you? Ii ya, ii ya to cheesy” Ryosuke tilted his head.
“Yuto-kun, I love you so please accept my chocolate?? Chigaau!! I can’t say that!!” he shakes his head very hard.
“Ryo? What’s wrong?” Yuto wondering.
“Eh? Aah…nandemonai!” he replied then Yuto chuckling.
“You look like her. See?” Yuto pointed at Kyo-chan who is scratching its ear and then it shakes its head. Yuto burst out laughing and his shoulders shrugging rapidly.
“Mou~Yuto-kun! Stop comparing me with Kyo-chan!” he pouting.
“Haha! Datte…you two really look alike”, Yuto said still can’t stop his laugh.
“Yuto-kun no baka!” he bent his knees to his chest and rest his chin on folded arms, sulking. But then he peeks at Yuto who is rubbing Kyo-chan’s tummy.
“There’s no way I can say that I love him or it might change our friendship forever. Not being able to see his smile again…I don’t want that!” he feels tight in his chest. He took a deep breath before he takes out a box contain chocolate that he worked so hard to make it last night from his pocket.
“Yuto-kun, I got this from a girl just now and I don’t really like chocolate so…here, take it!” he shove the chocolate to Yuto. His cheek is slightly blushing.
“Eh? Maji de? Uwaah arigatou! I love chocolates!” Yuto take the sky blue box wrapped with ribbon from Ryosuke’s hand while smiling cheerfully.
“Demo ne, I love it more if this chocolate was really given by you~” Yuto already opened the box and munch the heart shaped chocolate while Ryosuke have this oh-shit look in his face. If he know Yuto gonna say that, he should just told him that the he IS the one who gave the chocolate earlier!
Back in the school building, Chinen is walking toward the shoe lockers. He read the names on the locker one by one and stopped when he found the name he was looking for - Nakajima Yuto. He look at his right and left make sure that nobody around before he open the locker’s door. He’s correcting the ribbon of the purple box before he put it inside the locker. He bought the chocolate yesterday after he gave up on making it himself as it taste awful on every attempt. He stare at the box for the last time before he close the locker.
“Nani shiteru no, Chiinen-kun?” he startled when he heard a voice and immediately turn around only to see Haruna is standing in front of him with arms crossed, smirking.
“Hmm~ If I told other peoples about this, I wonder how they gonna think about you.” She raises her eyebrow.
“Told them what?” Chinen frowned, wondering if she saw what he was doing just now.
“Chinen Yuri, the honor student of the school was sneakily put a chocolate inside someone’s locker…” Haruna said sarcastically while stepping foot by foot toward Chinen.
“…and the best part is, that locker belongs to a freak guy”, Haruna stretch her head closer to Chinen’s face.
“Who would expect a guy like you, fancy another guy like Nakajima Yuto”, she poke Chinen’s chest and glare at him.
He averts his gaze away from those evil eyes. He feels so irritated and nervous at the same time. He didn’t expect someone will see him as he carefully make sure no one around before he headed toward the lockers and he never thought of the consequences. But thanks to this girl, his good reputation now in jeopardize.
“What do you want?” he asked as he knows that Haruna have hidden intention.
“You’re smart, as expected from a top student.” She step back from Chinen and rest her hands behind her back.
“Demo ne Chinen-kun, rather than what I want…I, will give you what you want”, she smirk.
“What the hell is that suppose to mean?” he annoyingly confused.
“Nakajima Yuto”, she said.
Chinen frowned with eyes wide opened.
“Let’s make a deal, Chinen-kun.”
Meanwhile, Ryosuke and Yuto are walking heading toward their class building as lunch hour almost end. But then they saw bunch of students gathering in front of the notice board.
“Hm? Why there’re so many peoples in front there?” Ryosuke look at Yuto at his side and he only shrugs his shoulders.
“Let’s go take a look. Maybe there’s some interesting news.” He pull Yuto’s arm and drag him along.
Because of so many people in front of him, Ryosuke tip-toeing try to see what’s on the notice board.
“Eeeh…I can’t see a thing”, he said. Suddenly, everyone turn to him and the girls start squeaking and jumpy. Ryosuke startled and look at the crowd with confused face.
“What’s wrong with all of them? Am I some kind of idol or something?” he wondering why those girls act like that when they saw him.
Yuto walk forward and everyone step back, staring at him weirdly and then whispering to each other. Still in confuse, Ryosuke follow Yuto and read what is written on the big paper pinned on the notice board.

They choose few guys to be voted as most wanted boyfriend and guy who gets higher votes will have to go for a date with a girl who got her name picked up randomly from the lucky draw”, Yuto explained since Ryosuke just transferred to this school, he doesn’t know about this.
“It doesn’t make any sense at all! What if the guy doesn’t want to go for that date?” Ryosuke feel dissatisfied. He just can get what is the purpose of this thing. Moreover, they been doing this for every year?
“He doesn’t have any choice and he can’t get away from it. They doing this for fun and so far none of the winner guy ever complained. They just play along and most of the couples will end up going out for real”, Yuto added.
“Seriously?” Ryosuke questioned and Yuto answered with a nod.
“But something weird…” said Yuto.
“What is it?” Ryosuke asked, feel worried.
“Usually they pick more than five guys every year…”
Ryosuke frowned. He only saw two names, Yuto’s and his.
“…and my name never once appeared on that list…”
