Matt’s birthday is Monday and I have no idea what to get him. I hate shopping for men. All he really likes is videogames and computer parts, but I don’t know what he has and doesn’t have, so I never bother with those. > >’’
I have woken up every morning for the last week with one of two songs going through my head: KAT-TUN’s DON’T U EVER STOP, or DOUBLE’s BLACK DIAMOND (the one featuring Amuro Namie). I don’t know why. The KAT-TUN one is, like, the only song of theirs I have heard that I like. And I don’t really listen to DOUBLE (or even Amuro Namie) all that much because her voice gets on my nerves after…one song.
Anyway, here. I promise they are not as terrifying as the undies/leaves video. The KAT-TUN one is actually kind of neat, even if some of the clothes/hats make me LOL. XDD (I really like this one part where one of them kind of laughs and goes, “Heh, hell yeah,” and like…licks his hand. It made me go *0* the first time I saw the video. It was just a really…hot-looking move. LMAO) It’s kind of a boy-band-ish song, so…forewarned and all.
For some reason the stupid thing likes to cut off the viewing area, so here's the link to it too, if you're interested.
The DOUBLE video is OK, too - stereotypical-ish hot female thieves in skin-tight black outfits in the air ducts (LOL) trying to steal a black diamond from a … club or something. > >’’ There is just one part…like halfway in…where they start doing this Christina Aguilera-type warbly-voice-wavering (there is a technical term for this, I’m sure - I just can’t think of it) and they just…can’t pull it off - NEITHER of them, but I think DOUBLE is the worse of the two. I can’t really tell. It makes me cringe EVERY TIME I hear it, but it only lasts for like 20 seconds of the bridge or something, so I just put up with it. I do have to physically restrain myself from fast forwarding through the part, though, because by the time my iPod registers that I’m fast forwarding through part of the song, it’s like, done and I miss more of the SONG song. LOL
(I am putting in my bet that Sara will most likely hate this. It’s not Koda Kumi, but it’s the same style of hip-hop-y music.) Neither of these gals is in my top favorite artists, and I have NO IDEA why this song keeps getting stuck in my head (it’s not BAD…but it’s not like, OMG THE BEST SONG EVAR!!!11one!! either). When that happens, the best thing I can do is just listen to it, otherwise it will drive me CRAZY.

I could not sleep last night. I think I finally fell asleep at 5am. And I was at work by 9:30. Ridiculous. Anyway, I took advantage of my “WTF-I-can’t-sleep” time to start my jmusic50 Icon Challenge - I claimed (prepare to be surprised) Aoi from the GazettE. Did you fall out of your chair in shock? I thought so!

I think they’re turning out great so far (at least I'm happy with them!!) - I have 5 months to do 50 icons, 20 of which are pre-determined “themes” (the first 20), the remaining 30 which are artist’s choice. You can only use photos from shoots, stills or animations from comment videos, etc. No PV screenshots. It will not take me 5 months to do 50. I got 7 done last night. LOL I was really taking my time with them, too - I’m sure I could crank most of them out in one day, but I want to make them really nice. X3 LOL
OK, well, I guess I’m done for now. I’m still working on my giant McDonald’s vanilla iced coffee from this morning (no cream, so the WHOLE huge cup was just coffee - mmmmmm). Needed something to keep me awake!!! I should find some lunch soon, though...
