Non frum Jews go to Shul at most 3 times a year, twice on Rosh Hashanah and for Yom Kippur. How sad that the only 3 days they go to Shul are the longest and most somber of the year...that is a way to get closer to Judaism? that being said...NOBODY does purim like the orthodox. I was thisclose to going to pico/robertson (the frum area here in LA) to celebrate with my more observant friends.
