Long status is long

Non frum Jews go to Shul at most 3 times a year, twice on Rosh Hashanah and for Yom Kippur. How sad that the only 3 days they go to Shul are the longest and most somber of the year...that is a way to get closer to Judaism? NO NO NO, you get up and you get your tuchus to Shul on Purim, to an Orthodox Shul, and you see the joy and happiness that Judaism is supposed to bring to your souls.

Rabbi Weinberg based on Maimonides explained:
The first commandment is to know there is a G-d. After you "believe," you need to use your mind and "know." See the design in Creation, the genius of the Torah until you are convinced intellectually as well as emotionally......when all the jews will realize it they will attain the observan...ce of the Torah with joy.

Chofetz Chaim "If it is the will of Hashem, a parent can be more successful with and have more nachas from one son than that of ten sons! The achievements of an only child can be more than that of ten children."

If I tell you a phrase doesn't exist in French or that you totally butchered what you meant to say, don't tell me I don't know French and am probably American pretending to be French. Say thank you, and learn.

I prefer giving the mishloach manot to two people who will be really happy, than to give 10 to "popular" people who won't remember who it is from and will probably end up throwing most of it away.

people suck, french, ignorance, judaism, english, roshhashana, purim, children, kippur, quote
