[202 steps reluctantly aside to permit Ludwig the space he needs to work, swiping a lock of blood-matted hair back behind one ear with one hand while her other passes over Vash's hair with nervous, gentle affection.]

[Once again, the businesslike tenor of Ludwig's voice brings 02 back to her senses--Not that she'd redirected away from them by very much. She listens closely and answers him with a sharp nod before moving to the nearby sink. Her hair is drawn quickly back from her face and jerked into a broad knot, out of the way so her hands are free for a thorough scrubbing.

While she scrubs, hard enough to turn her pale skin almost as pink as the water that's washing away the blood that coated it, 202 watches Ludwig's actions intently over one shoulder. Glass... This Germany was not from her own time, clearly.

Shaking her hands dry, she steps back over.]

[202 nods once before clicking her watch shut, concentrating her attention on Vash's battered body--already much improved, he was still likely to be in quite a bit of pain when he came to, and wasn't quite out of the woods just yet as far as his remaining injuries went.

The sound of James's approaching footsteps were a welcome distraction, and she turned to face the door as she heard him drawing closer.]

[Her tone was far calmer than she actually felt, of course, but 202 was as businesslike as ever--Efficiency had to come first, for Vash's sake if not that of her own mental wellbeing.]

[The smell of blood is even thicker in the room where Vash lies prone on a gore-stained gurney, thoroughly mangled and breathing in shallow, ragged gasps. 202 is bent over him and working quickly to bandage and patch what wounds she can, military calm schooling her features into a neutrality that's entirely at odds with the sheer desperation plain in her eyes when she turns them on Naoki. The fact that this person is a total stranger to her doesn't register at all, only that he said he could help.]

Hurry, please... He's still hurt very badly. I'm not a medic, I don't know how to fix all of this... [And there is so much to fix.]
