[202 would know the voice behind those ragged gasps anywhere, even without her attention being drawn to their source by the sound of rushing waters emitting unexpectedly from her communicator. Glancing down at it, she spares barely enough time to register what she's seeing--And surely she can't be seeing that, he must just be stained by the river water--before piecing together what it means, and where she needs to go. Abandoning her post at the cathedral and her communicator there with it, she runs.

It's not a long haul to the river's edge and she makes it there in record time, wading into the waters without a second thought to try and retrieve the broken remains she still can't quite believe she's seeing.]

[Vash barely registers that anyone is there. His mind is so far gone, so deeply entrenched in agony, that not even the sound of approaching feet filtering through at least one burst eardrum can bring it back.

As for his body, how it is held together is a mystery of fraying sinew and tattered skin; it's as if his healing abilities are reduced to simply trying to keep him in one mass, no matter how impossible that is.]

[It's not rocket science to determine the unfathomable degree of pain Vash must be in-- 02 has eaten peoplethings that were in better shape than he is. Now's not the time for thoughts like that, though... For now she's focused wholly on scooping him into her arms, moving gingerly despite a painfully acute awareness that there's little she could do at this point to worsen things.

Hauling them both up the bank of the river she staggers briefly to one knee thanks to the uneven footing, but recovers after a moment to doggedly resume moving towards the clinic. It's a far cry from perfect, but it will have to do.]

[What would have been painful jarring is so far below the threshold of the agony he's in that it doesn't even register. Some remaining nerve endings do register that he is being picked up and moved, telling his fractured mind that someone has come for him at last. The one eye that could even pretend to work fights to open, but at best he catches a glimpse of gold. From there it takes several long moments for the image to process and then another long stretch for it to register... Yet when it does, there is some small part of him that feels intense relief.

It's not just "someone" who has come. It is his 202... and he can finally pass out fully, falling deeply asleep for the first time in over a week. No matter how much pain he is in, the nightmare, the Hell, is finally over.]

[ She stopped running after Germany and 202 having lost track of them, to stare at the screen for just a few seconds, it didn't take her long at all to piece together who that is. She bit back her tears, then gave herself a little nod. She had to do something now, even if both of them would be mad at her from not listening to her. She already snuck out and this isn't something she could stay and do nothing about. ]

W-who... how. [ Insert curses here, courtesy of Hidan thank you very much. ]
