Just next to Durness is Balnakeil, which boasts a gorgeous beach and a puffin colony in the cliffs.

There is a beautiful ruined church and graveyard overlooking the sea )

Me too. You should see how many pics I took in that churchyard... :o)

There was also this fantastic old house right on the beach - it looked empty and closed up, but I was just dreaming of being able to live there. Imagine in a storm, with the water pounding against the rocks and the sea spray spattering the windows... *sigh*

I know - I took over 500 pics in Scotland! LOL. Serious addict or what ;o)

Being paid to take pics sounds much better than being a teaching slave ;o)

I also thought I could try and sell some of my other pics to nature mags or something...
