Today it was cold and clear (the stars are out now) and I went for two walks. Fantastic weather! -16°C and yummy.

It's wonderful - the world is pristine. Plus it's GREAT to be snug at home! Have to go out just now to pick up a parcel from the PO then go to my last (thank the Lord) entrepreneurship class. It's been quite tedious in parts ( Read more... )

Just next to Durness is Balnakeil, which boasts a gorgeous beach and a puffin colony in the cliffs.

I'd never been to the north of Scotland, and it was fantastic. You really felt like there was fresh air and distance between you and the next person. Isolation is good sometimes!!
