Hadn't found my way to the second one, not having followed the original LBD. But even on just knowledge of Austen, it's great fun - I just love the idea of Caroline Bingley insisting on the superiority of flourescent bulbs - she would!
Absolutely no idea what I want. I always love fleshing-out bit-part characters (particularly if they've originally been written dismissively). Love the glimpses you give us of the domestic arrangements at Cair Paravel - maybe more Mrs Furner & Master Hoberry? Or Peter first attempting to handle a boat - he must have mastered the skill eventually, as he does row (albeit rather grumpily, and only *after* they almost let the boat escape) in PC.
There are so many recs! (So little time.) I'll have to make my way through slowly, savouring their deliciousness like a Edwardian aesthete. The ones I've got to so far have been delicious indeed. :)
I read your LBD remix and it was wonderful! I don't know why but I find that fandom is hard to write for but you did a terrific job on it. Loved seeing Darcy's inner thoughts though it's hard to see him like that, in the days when he and Lizzie were still beginning to know each other and they still can't stand each other just yet. :-)
