All right, it's time to put your hands together for our first contestant, Alma!

[Alma is cursing her luck as she steps onstage. Of course she's the only participant whose name starts with an A. Of course.]

[After a deep breath, she seems to have calmed some, and she begins!]

[True to the lyrics, there is a small smile on her face as she sings. She doesn't look at anyone in particular -- the "prizes" aren't anyone she knows, after all. And, well, she's just doing this for funsies.]

Cissnei walked on to the stage, she could feel her cheeks turning red. This was so out of her comfort range. She was used to being in the shadows, and she honestly was fine with that. Turks by definition did not belong in the spot light. She walked up to the mike, her voice faltering as she started out, tempted to just sing as off key as possible but her pride refused to let her lose just because she didn't give it her all.

She looked out into the crowd hoping her friends were there, that Reno was there.

[As if he could embarrass himself further in front of people. Cloud steps out onto the stage, not having much of a choice.]

[Yep, it was possible to turn a darker shade of red. He could only hope the person the song was really intended for wasn't in the audience, he didn't have the gall to look up.]

[ The brunette was now standing up in his chair, clapping his hands together as enthusiastically as he could. His smile widened then as the blond had exited the stage, but that didn't stop him from the loud cheers erupting for him. The keyblade bearer then cupped his hands firmly around the side of his lips, giving another loud shout as he did so. Hey- one cheerleader squad coming right up! ]

Yeeeeah! That was awesome Cloud! Woot woot!

[The man listens silently, the song wasn't that bad actually and despite the fact Cloud won't see it, he gives the blond a small subtle smile and look of approval.]

[Jecht doesn't even notice the "bronzed god" comment. He's too busy mentally arguing with himself.

Not that it's showing. He stands tall, shoulders set, grinning a trademark Jecht Grin. There's not a sign of the mental battle.

The mental battle can be summarized like so:
