Hum. Well I play more manga version--but I think a lot of what I can say applies to both. Sorry if this comes off as a little discombobulated, my first time giving advice xD

Don't obsess over Edward. She loves him very much (platonic or romantic, it'd be up for you to decide) but she cares about Al just as much, and she does have her own life outside of them. Winry is a strong, independent girl. She's been through a lot but she manages to keep a smile on and find the silver-lining in a lot of situations. So no, she isn't going to weep, break down, and sigh over him constantly, nor pine that he will not notice her feelings. If anything, making her feelings obvious would be the last thing she wants, because she wouldn't want to become a distraction from his goals of restoring his and Al's bodies ( ... )

How Not to Play Giselle - Unhappy all the time. As someone who wants to hook up with every guy around. So frail and in need of constant rescue that she can't take five steps without falling in a hole and needing to be pulled out again.

Giselle, even when confronted by strange, scary or disheartening circumstances is incredibly resourceful and able to find the good in almost everything. And even though she falls in love with Prince Edward at first sight, that doesn't mean that she'll let every guy ever into her pants at first sight. She tends to fixate and over-romanticize rather than flit from person to person.

Howl from Howl's Moving Castle anonymous March 8 2009, 17:40:11 UTC
Book or movie version, either or is good. Although I think I might prefer the book version.

Which book? He's in a couple. Though I guess that doesn't make too much of a difference, just you mean heartless Howl or post-first book Howl?
