Success?
Last night was intense.... But I didn't smoke. So, maybe that's a blessing in disguise? Could be a sign that the two months in non-smoker status is gonna stick this time. I'd really like it to - I had a head cold this past week and it didn't turn into a chesty bronchial thing. First time in at least 6 years.

Tonight, after dinner, Bug noticed some rice on the floor. I was cleaning up the dishes and heard, "Mom, the floor is a mess. Can I vacuum it?" Sweet! Some of you may know that I've started playing with the Last Regiment of Syncopated Drummers. I play bass drum with them. tonight, at my LRSD gig, i hit a guy in the head with my mallet. It was at a point where i beat the hell out of my drum and his head was in the way. -

I have arrived
The trip up to Ellensburg was great. Bug & I talked the entire way, about everything from animals to dams to Lewis & Clark. I took every opportunity to explain things to him - and threw in some family lore when I could. I am sure that many of you have seen those road signs that read "Falling Rocks" or simply "Rocks."
