I've forgotten what a time vacuum the Fallout series is. For two days in a row, I've put it in, intending to play an hour - maybe two tops - and then suddenly it was time for bed.

Guess I'll have to revert to the timer on my phone. If something kicks me out of playing and makes me actually think for a minute, I'm usually lucid enough to stop and ( Read more... )

I have yet to play Lonesome Road, but of the F:NV DLC, the one I recommend the most is Old World Blues. It was the one that felt the most Fallout-y to me, with that dark sense of humor, some worldbuilding, and a ton of delicious Mad Science(tm).

Tbh, I'm not even sure how many FNV DLC there are. I know I saw an ad on xbox live for the Burning Man and something about cards... Old World Blues, though. I'll remember that when I do go to look at them.

Maybe they'll all go down in price by the time I work my way through DA2 dlc. lol

I've been wanting to watch Castle (I ♥ Nathan Fillion), but have never actually seen an episode before. Is it one I need to start from the beginning, or can I pick it up whenever and be okay?

You've never seen Castle? :O

You are in for a treat. :DDD

That being said, you should start at the beginning: season 1, episode 1. Though each episode mostly stands on its own, there is an overarching plot, and the characters change and grow throughout the season.

I have not! But I shall rectify this! :-) (I love shows where there's overarching plot. Do you watch Criminal Minds, by any chance?) I'm going to go add Castle to the Netflix queue.

Criminal Minds? No, never seen it. You enjoy it, I'm guessing? :)
