I have a blender! Yay! This may not be exciting enough to some of you to merit a celebration, but it is to me. I have a slowly dwindling list of the necessary appliances and things I'll need for when I move out on my own... hopefully sometime soon. A blender was next on my list, but the more I looked, the more I was annoyed. Those little suckers

Ahhh yes... building up household stock! Isn't it fun? I have two suggestions to help with that. 1) Yard sales. It's a lot of hit and miss, but you can still find A LOT of good stuff. (I've furnished a lot of our house with yard sale finds) 2) freecycle.com It's a lot of hit and miss too, but you don't have to pay anything. You just have to make arrangements to pick stuff up.
