Blenders and computers and things
I have a blender! Yay! This may not be exciting enough to some of you to merit a celebration, but it is to me. I have a slowly dwindling list of the necessary appliances and things I'll need for when I move out on my own... hopefully sometime soon. A blender was next on my list, but the more I looked, the more I was annoyed. Those little suckers are expensive! Thirty dollars and higher? I don't think so.
Lucky for me my uncle just had a house warming party and someone got him a blender that he didn't need since he already has one, so he gave it to me. Hurray for good uncles!
My computer is also safely back in my room, though not usuable at the moment. I gave it to Computer-whiz Brother #1 around Christmas to install Windows XP (when I tried it gave me the Blue Screen of Doom), but he's been so busy that he still hasn't had time to work on it. He says, though, that he'll get it done soon. I have to get some card-thingy to install and he'll walk me through it by email or phone. My youngest brother and I are having birthdays in May, so he'll look at it then probably.
I miss my computer. I'm used to saving all my stories on there, though lately I've been writing straight to Writing.com (complete with spelling errors :-P ). My computer is faster than my dad's as well, so I can't wait to get it back up and working again.
