In FFX news, I'm topping up my captured monster count. This means a) I will get the species capture monsters and b) I get to do some extra levelling up. It also gives me extra opportunities to use Eternal Rain 50 times so that I can get Tidus' final Overdrive. I have looked into battling the Dark Aeons, and I think it's just too late. Yay! I dodged 211 ligtning bolts in a row, and got the Venus Sigil as my just reward. Now Lulu has a fully powered Onion Knight. May I also mention that I did not have any armour equipped with No Encounter, so I had some random battles to get through, as well? *accepts the applause* Thank you, thank you. FFX update - I have fully powered up Celestial Weapons for Kimahri, Yuna, Rikku and Auron. Hate those pesky little Cactuars, not quite as much as the butterflies, and certainly a lot less than lightning, but still pretty deeply. Managed to dodge 70 bolts of lightning then got fried. Sulked and gave up for today, will try again tomorrow ( Read more... )

Well, I've spent most of today running around Macalania Woods bumping into red butterflies. But, eventually, I managed to get the blue ones. I just hope I remembered to save before I turned the PS2 off...

I really need to find some self-discipline and get some writing done *sigh*

Last week, Debbie and I were telling each other that this week would be really quiet. How wrong can you be? We've been up to our eyes in work all week. Debbie's off tomorrow, but Kirsty should be coming in, so it shouldn't be too bad. Still, after tomorrow, I'm off work until 16 April. Triple yay!!!
