getting the word out about Arisia
Our September Arisia concomm meeting is coming up soon -- 2 pm Sunday Sept 9 at the Westin Boston Waterfront, the Arisia hotel.
We're looking for more volunteers in almost every area. Right now I'm looking for ideas for getting the word out. Keeping in mind that "back to school" is coming up, where should we be publicizing? -

10 best books 2011
Rather than listing all of the 55 or so books I read in 2011 -- some of them quite forgettable if not downright bad -- here's the "10 best" list. That's what I did for 2010, which had some truly wonderful things to list.

Recently my LJ has had some musings about the etiquette of invitations, social inclusivity vs the desire for small events and the like.
