Today I went to the local Animal Welfare League. It's been 3 months since Kali passed away and while I still miss her terribly I felt it was time for a new cat. To leave or not to leave, that is the question
So I put my back out, right? And I (naturally) have to take sick leave. Horrible pain involved - here, says my doctor, take these anti-inflammatories. Next thing I know, sick as a dog! So I have had my (wonderful) holidays and returned to work. I was greeted by an email from Denise saying how terrible it had been without me and telling me about all sorts of problems that had occurred. A world of bad manners
A caller at work this evening, after abusing a rep, was put through to me. He wanted to complain about the rep's 'rudeness'. The guy had been within earshot and I knew he hadn't done anything wrong, but I just went along with it, apologised on the company's behalf and assured the caller I would deal with it.
