I heard that news report on NPR (that's right, I listen to NPR) about women NOT doing exams or submitting to mammagrams (spl?) as early as 40...why?....they were weighing the benefits of early detection vs all the false treatments, surgeries, and unwarranted anxeties, this bring on women who are actually not sick. I watch too much CSI, on the news, early this week, they talked about a woman's murder (course it could have been a suicide..), but, they found her body in a suitcase, in a dumpster in Buena Park...she had her fingers cut off and her teeth knocked out (gross) and they were looking for the woman's husband, a "person of interest"  for questioning ( Read more... )

my puppy is sick, not a life threatening, but sure life miserable.  She looks like hell and smells kinda funky, but she's still the same old puppy. She spent last night at the vets, just so they could watch her and make her a little less miserable :-(    it's a rash that just won't go away, and she keeps scratching (or licking) and her paws are red ( Read more... )
