We're in Barbados today, which isn't as pretty from the deck of the ship as Dominica was - it's quite flat in comparison! The weather is hot (upper 80's I think) and rather humid today. Lessee... left work at around 2:45 pm for a 3:15 doctor appointment with my diabetes specialist. Between my last visit (in June) and this visit, I'm down three pounds to 194, and that was with me wearing jeans today. Yay me! My A1C (3 month glycohemoglobin) was a 6.3, which is quite excellent. Had my post-op follow-up with Dr. V today. My appointment was for 2pm, but I didn't get called back to the exam room until about 3:15, then it was 3:40 by the time that he got back to see me. I think he was in the room for about five minutes, to look at how the scars were doing. He gave me some samples of Mederma cream to massage into the scars ( Read more... )
