Evening Update & Meme Time

Had my post-op follow-up with Dr. V today. My appointment was for 2pm, but I didn't get called back to the exam room until about 3:15, then it was 3:40 by the time that he got back to see me. I think he was in the room for about five minutes, to look at how the scars were doing. He gave me some samples of Mederma cream to massage into the scars to aid with healing, although I think they look pretty good myself. :)

At any rate, I go back to see him January 10th, at which point I'll have Humana insurance again (rather than my current Bluegrass Family Health), so maybe if we decide to do some more *reconstructive* work my insurance will cover it this time.

Afterwards, I went to the post office to mail out my Stamping swap (finally) then came home, got undressed, and napped with Knight for a few hours. Got up a little after 8pm, made us some sandwiches and re-heated some (homemade) veggie soup for us. Now we're watching The Amazing Race and hoping that the team with the two young kids doesn't come in last. :)
