So, like, this one time, at band Team Jones camp, I wrote a bunch of comment fics based on pictures, and since the posts are locked I figured I'd just bring 'em over here and let non-team members see them because it's a self-pimp day because fuck yeah, it's been five years since my diagnosis which means it's been five years since I've had cancer

But the comment fics are amazing, I think my favorite is the last one, but maybe not. I kind of like all of them.

I think I read all these fics, except the last one--strung together, they've totally reduced me to a puddle of gibbering goo. I'm glad someone has addressed the why of Karl's man-stance. Makes perfect sense to me, so I'm rolling with it. :D

Haven't known you long, but if it's 5 years since the diagnosis, are you in remission?

august 31st of that year was my last radiation treatment, so i call that my real anniversary or whatever, but yeah. about halfway through the treatments i was declared cancer-free, so i've been in remission for five years.

You know, I love your writing. Not because it's hot (though it so, so is) - I just love the characters you create. They have *personality.* They're FUN. They're sweet and they're funny and needy and nervous and there's depth to them. I'm really glad you posted all these in one place - I would hate to miss any!
