A delightful progress from friendship, to friendship with benefits to admitting that this is bromance without the b as seen through Bradley's eyes. I loved their voices in this, also of Katie, Angel, Anthony and Neil, Colin's brother. It's sweet and playful, and if you like good kissing you're in for a treat.

This fic gives me that butterflies-in-stomach feeling I love so much. I love how it shows the trust grow between them, how they're carefully testing the ground, how it's kind of scary, but also exciting and new, both the sex and the whole relationship thing. How things don't automatically go right immediately, but they work it out.
I love their sweetness and their mischievousness, the jokes and banter and the tenderness. Reading this fic feels like falling in love.

Even though I'd seen this fic recced all over the place, even to me personally, by several people, it took me until last weekend to finally read it. Just ignore the nonchalance in the header because this fic is so worth reading. It's lovely, funny and incredibly tender.

Colin doesn't like Bradley's beard and to make clear just how much he means it he offers to shave it off himself. On a dare Bradley takes him up on the offer and then they find out that this actually is a more intimate act than they'd anticipated.

They're both very much in character as far as I'm concerned, but I especially find Colin in the snippet spot on. The first fic plays with the reaction of the guys on the slashing fans and how the makers of the series have admitted they're catering to that particular audience. The guys are so adorable!

A behind the scenes tag inspired by the GMTV interview.
It's not that Colin's bad at interviews, it's just that he gets nervous. He gets nervous, and if he's alone he'll manage to stutter out an answer, but if he's with Bradley then it's a lot easier to just let Bradley fill up all those empty spaces.
Captures exactly the vibe I got from the interview.

Read the warnings; they're quite accurate. This fic is totally different from her others. Set in the future it's more raw, with both guys more mature. I especially love this provocative Colin who dares Bradley to reconsider what it is he likes and wants and what he's willing to do to get it. It's clear that Colin is already one step ahead.
*) 'Wild honey' (15,300 words, rps/Island crossover, Bradley/Calum, NC-17)
This fic has already been recced all over the place, and I'm reccing it here anyway, because I fell for her characters hard. She made me finally buy and read the book, which made me realize just how perfect Colin is for this role. And once you've read the book you'll want more, and that's exactly what you get with this fic (although I did it the other way around, and that works just as well).
This pairing touched me deeply, in all the ways the characters aren't perfect but are trying the best the can. In how they bring out the best in each other. In the way other characters and elements from the book are worked into the story in such a way that it fits but you don't need to have read the book to understand.
This fic is tender and yet realistic, with hope and trust and loads of positivity.
*) 'All that you can't leave behind' (9,090 words, Merlin/Island crossover, Bradley/Calum, NC-17)
A sequel to 'Wild honey' which I recced over here and which should be read first to make this one make sense.
The sequel has romance and adventure and the sex is a delight.
*) 'Location fling' (5,600 words, Colin/OMC, Bradley/Will Mellor, Bradley/Colin, NC-17)
Bradley is quite shaken when he accidentally walks in Colin having sex with a guy. He seeks out Will to do his own experimenting and gets caught into something he doesn't quite know how to handle. Things get untangled when Colin steps in.
I loved Bradley's confusion, the imperfect sex, Colin being so secure in his own skin, Will being a boar but not a bastard, and of course Colin showing Bradley how good it can be.
*) 'The green silk dress' (5,490 words, Bradley/Colin, NC-17)
I'm not much into cross-dressing but I love watching Bradley watch Colin, the way this sets them off trying different things. Also, I do have a virginity kink, and I love it especially when it has this sweet balance between trust, vulnerability, lust and patience.
*) 'Bittersweet' (Bradley/Colin, 8,270 words, NC-17)
From the start of filming the chemistry between Colin and Bradley is clear, both on- and off-screen. The slow building of the attraction between them is exquisite and the confusion and doubt this brings understandable since they each have a very steady girlfriend...
Angsty but also moving. I love how the crackling energy between Colin and Bradley is practically palpable and once they take the plunge they do it in a way that's both respectful to the girls (who are genuinely lovely) as very energetic in a 'thank god, finally' kind of way.

Bradley has difficulties coming to terms with the fact the apparently he's gay. Colin is sweetly understanding and patient. Beautiful and fragile.

A series of ficlets in which Colin gives mixed messages, Bradley is confused, there is much longing and sweet ache and you'll be so, so thankful she wrote that last part. Beautiful.
