very rarely do I mock Charlie's "picture if you will" scenes, but this was begging for it. (that and there was a chess-in-your-head plot on an ep of Mentalist, though not the ep which guest starred Christina Chang {who portrayed Val Eng}).

also, saw the Original Dr Zambrano on Miami Medical tonight. already thinking of an AU - but I bet you can write it better than I can.

Sometimes Charlie's "picture if you will" scenes need to be mocked. (I did enjoy that chess in your head game in that Mentalist episode and I remember seeing Chang in the other episode, too.)

It was a very interesting AU. Reminded me a bit of Stargate SG-1's "Ripple Effect."

haha. There were so many lines I loved here.

First, I loved that Colby translated for Callie to David. Obviously he knows her better than anyone. *sighs* I also loved the conversation with Nikki and Liz about what was going through Colby's head right now and "nothing repeatable." haha. Indeed. They apparently know HIM better than anyone.

Loved the part about visualizing the deck. Enjoyed Val and Amita's interaction.

Considering how many characters there are, this is just a lot of fun to read. I hope you're having as much fun writing it. :)

Well, Callie was a little colder and harsher in this fic... but Callie IS colder and harsher when she's on the job. So, she's got her game face on. I don't think she was out of character here. She was still pleasant and I'm sure she was thankful Colby was there. :)

I'm glad you're enjoying yourself. I can't wait to see more of this and how it all turns out. Maybe Cal's Immortals will have to work with the FBI more often. LOL.

Colby was probably feeling a little awkward. particularly with all the comments about his double-agent days.
