Classics question - CA conference

This is a quick question for Classicists. I just had my paper accepted for the Classical Association conference next year (to be held in Cardiff). I wasn't expecting this, so it's a lovely a surprise :) The plan is to speak about the Phoenician practice of writing bilingual inscriptions in Phoenician and Greek, which happens in several ancient ( Read more... )

I direct you to my post about the one I went to in Reading in 2005, although there are a couple of caveats - I believe that the Cardiff one is going to be hotel-based rather than campus-based, as that's been the way the past couple of years; I was an MPhil student and thus a) junior and b) cocky as hell; I wasn't giving a paper. Take with the appropriate grains of salt.
