Classics question - CA conference

Oct 02, 2009 18:13

This is a quick question for Classicists. I just had my paper accepted for the Classical Association conference next year (to be held in Cardiff). I wasn't expecting this, so it's a lovely a surprise :) The plan is to speak about the Phoenician practice of writing bilingual inscriptions in Phoenician and Greek, which happens in several ancient Mediterranean places.

Anyway, what I wanted to ask is:

Have you been to the Classical Association conference? What's it like? How much is the conference fee?

Just in case there's anyone out there who knows the answer, or you can point me in the direction of anyone would would.

Thanks in advance :)

P.S. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who's been sending me lovely messages of good luck and hugs regarding my thesis work and new job - sorry I've been slow in replying!

me, phoenician, yay, help, classics, advice, conferences
