It plainly ought to be called Law And Order: London, but I've been enjoying it. It seems much more relaxed in pacing than its progenitor, which I'm still getting used to.

Yes, it is very London-centric[1], isn't it? A bit like removing all the soapy bits from the Bill and tagging the Order bit onto the end.

I should really try the progenitor, but I may not be ready if it's even more fastpaced than UK!
