So tell me, have you been watching Law and Order UK? If so, what do you think?
At first I was feeling uninspired, and then I watched Bradley Walsh on Alan Titchmarsh's show and he managed to persuade me that not dwelling on characterisation (except for guest stars) is a virtue. And I'm sort of getting used to it. I've never seen the US version, you understand, so I didn't really know what to expect - perhaps that's why I was surprised by the format at first.
Apparently it's Freema Agyeman's birthday today, and she's 30. Is it me, or does she look younger than that? Maybe I'm just getting old...
Anyway, I've decided I like it, but not necessarily in a fangirlish sort of way (well, apart from the icon). So far my favourite character is James Steel (the lawyer guy), played by Ben Daniels, who also played Caiaphas in last Easter's Jesus drama (The Passion, I think it was called). Something about that voice.
Also, have a couple of links:
Lyttony (always funny)
and
Centurion (new film I heard about that's about Romans vs. Picts *and* has David Morrissey in it!)
