At the end of April, after weeks of being in pain, my grandfather was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Rapidly progressing stomach cancer. Rapidly progressing already very progressed stomach cancer. I'm writing this research paper for one of my classes. I got annoyed immediately when I saw the syllabus because the professor was picky about it's format, and personally I think MLA or the like is fine for a 15 page undergrad paper. Today we talked about the different/new foods we tried over the weekend (oops I forgot.) and lots of them were boring (including mine). I have basically the same dance style, if not worse, than that of my sixth grade self.

Today was amazing. Here's why:

• I got up at 8 AM and ran 2 miles. It wasn't a good run because of the polluted route I took and the cold air, but it was still a run.
• I made the perfect cup of coffee to accompany my buttermilk blueberry muffin for breakfast. Mmm!
• I was awake and even focused for all of my classes today. What?! Thanks run!

Is it better to have a dream where you wake up satisfied by merely having the dream, or is it better to wake up disappointed and almost angry because you know the dream could never be true?

I believe since we last talked I was still looking for a job. Since I just got hired yesterday, I know this is the case.
