i've tried watching Firefly now for about half the series.... it is ok, but i don't see what everyone jumps up and down about. am i missing something?

i don't know how the hell the republicans are neck and neck with the democrats... how freaking stupid are people?? guess that answer is... pretty bloody stupid.

I've been married one year now... weird, or not really because it feels like no time at all has passed.

it seems a lot has happened in the last year and here we are.

my typing skills have also now taken a turn for the worse because I am now deeply confused when I try to type fast and who knows what the hell comes out. seriously.

so not only am i trying to do this mandolin thing, I am also now trying to pick up this dvorak thing... my fingers and brain have no idea what the hell is going on!!!!

ilana is in the pic too because she is watching me now, and apparently kissing me too

i am trying to learn the mandolin... but my fingers can't play shit. they are stubby, can't reach all the frets, and now seem to be caliced... and none of my notes transition well.

it's bullshit.

i am happy that fuel prices in the states are increasing... people need more efficient vehicles and we need to get off of a carbon-based economy. don't people realise that can only happen when people stop buying bloody oil!!!!

i think this week is actually going by quite quickly. it's amazing that the week before i go on a 2 week holiday my work actually slows down a whole lot and i actually have time to learn things and improve my knowledge about the finer things and details ( Read more... )

sooo excited for my summer holidays :) not quite sure where we are going, but we know we will start and end in brussels. we've had a mixed bag with couch surfers so far where about half of the places we were thinking about going have hosts that can take us, which isn't too great but i guess that kind of focuses our travels? we're going to be in ( Read more... )
